I have another Freebie for you
I've put together my first ever Tagger kit. What is a tagger kit? It's a digital scrapbooking kit in miniture. Everything is still fully printable at 300 dpi. But the papers and elements are smaller than in a conventional kit. The papers are 3x3 inches and the elements are in scale with the smaller paper size. Tagger kits are perfect for those small projects (eg mini albums, ATCs, cards) and for creating Avatars, Signatures and E-cards.
My kit is availble here for 2 weeks. Click on the image to download. There are 7 papers, the plain ones are not shown on the preview.

And if you are visiting me for the first time, make sure you check out my regular blog freebie - the Lucky Dip on my sidebar. It currently has a digital scrapbooking kit (fullsize with 12x12 inch papers) inside for you. I change the contents of my Lucky Dip completely at random. So if you don't want to miss the next one, then please follow my blog.

Stick Notes Pad Covers
I've been making covers for sticky notes pads this month. This is one I made for my sister for her birthday last weekend.
Here is one for my gifts box. I used a kit by The Scrappin Cop for this.

All Muddled Up - A Speed Scrap
My son's got all muddled up with his children's songs. He was singing this most of the afternoon, so I just had to speed scrap it. You can read it better and see the credits in my Gallery - click on the image.

A day with the kids
Daniel went back to work today after a few days holiday. Roo was upset that Daddy wasn't on holiday anymore. He doesn't understand that Daddy has different holidays to them.
The day started out really misty. I wasn't looking forward to a day stuck at home with bored children. Fortunately the mist lifted late morning. So after lunch we packed ourselves of to the Town Park (our local one was demolished and is yet to be replaced). After a 1 1/2 mile walk to the park Roo was too tired to play. But after a rest he had fun with his big sister in the over crowded park. They did replace a load of equipment in time for the school holidays and it is great.

On the way home the kiddies wanted to go to the craft shop to buy something. We raided the £1 and under rack and clearance bin for some things to add to our stash. We came away with loads of buttons, beads, sequins and ribbons. TJ and Roo had loads of fun looking at them when we got home and decanting the beads etc into boxes.

After Tisha and Roo were in bed TJ and I made a card each using some of our new sequin flowers and some brads from our previous trip. I used a sketch by Becky at Pagemaps for my card.

Drayton Manor Fun & Scare
We went to Drayton Manor yesterday as planned. It includes the children's park - Thomas Land. It was a fun day except for a heart stressing episode in the early afternoon. We lost Roo. It took me 10 mins to find him. Fortunately he was only just starting to notice he was alone when I found him, so no trauma for the little boy. Mummy on the other hand was terrified. After regrouping and finding the old man who was helping us look for him I went in to delayed shock - took 1/2 hour to recover.
It was a showery day, and the weather forecast kept the crowds away so there weren't very many ques. Roo got to go on his favourite ride, the troublesome trucks roller coaster, 4 times. Tisha enjoyed the small Zoo and Farmer McColl's farm. The rain and clouds kept the camera in the bag most of the time, but we did manage to get some good photos. This is my favourite, taken on the rapids.

Bouncing Fun
Tisha's down for her afternoon nap and Roo and TJ are out in the garden. I can see them from here and the new game is a hit. We got Roo a space hopper like his big sister and I showed him how to use it this afternoon.

Acton Burnel Castle
We went to Acton Burnel Castle yesterday afternoon. This is the site where the house of commons held it's first session of Parliment.

We last visited this castle nearly 2 years ago. I had a quick look in my scrapbook and the kids have changed so much since then. Here's a page from my Son's album, he wasn't walking yet.

Learning To Sew
TJ has lots of these cardboard and wooden sewing toys that you thread with coloured laces. Earlier this week she told me that she wanted to do some proper sewing. So I got the felt and embroidery threads out and she has made this delightful bag this week. She is so proud of it that she announced "Daddy will say that mummy made it". Well, she's got a bit of practicing to do before Daddy gets that muddled up. But for her first ever sewing project I'm proud.

Roo was a bit jealous and wanted to make a bag too. So we sat down together. He chose all the felt colours, the motif, and the threads at each stage of the project. He sat happily watching me sew it up for him. I omitted the strap as he can still be a bit dangerous with them. If you came to visit Roo would dutifully collect the bag to show you and say that he made it.
The school holidays begin tomorrow. I didn't think they started until next Monday, but I was informed otherwise when I collected my son from Nursery this morning. So I expect there to be lots more kiddie craft projects to show you soon.
