It's the 17th Progressive challenge this month, and if you are unfamiliar with it we get a few steps each week to build a layout. It can be a challenge and fun as you don't know what next week will bring.
So this week's steps are
1. Start with your choice of background paper, ADD a vertical border strip slightly in from the left edge.
Papers from Cilenia Curtis's retired kit Creative Musings April.
2. About 2/3 down, place a strip (or grouped strips) horizontally across the page. It can be all the way across, or partially.
The perfect place for some of those measuring tapes.
3. Place a layer of paper, fabric or etc. (about 5-7”square) on top of the horizontal strips, more to one side or the other.
The mats (from Angie Young's Dare to Create Change) are rectangular, so I placed them one on top of the other to make a square and blended the join to make it look like one mat.
Here's part 1 of my layout.
