WOYWW - Door Handles and Birthday Cake

We're still busy with paint brushes after the loft conversion building works. Today Daniel and I have been attacking the new fire doors with quick dry gloss.

It's much quicker to paint the door after you take the handles off.

Yesterday we celebrated Roo's birthday with presents, minions and a carrot cake.

What are you working on today? What's on Your Work Desk? Mine? I havn't showed you mine have I? Can't show you much of it at the moment, but these are in the corner waiting to be written and posted for Christmas.

The conservatory is far too cold so I've put the folding table up behind me for the children to work on. TJ's doing an elephant collage for her homework.

New carpets for the upper floor and the stairwells are booked in to be laid in two weeks, so I hope to be able to give you all a virtual tour by Christmas.

Sounds as if you are all very busy. painting is such a tiresome task and always takes longer than anticipated.

An exciting tale, Angela. Happy birthday to your little one - precious times! Enjoy all the decorating, and the carpets when they arrive!

Oh well done you, living through the conversion and keeping your sanity! It's worth it but does feel long and painful at times huh! So nice to see you here and am hugely impressed that you have a box of ready cards!
